Lost a Student

Well I had Paul as a student for 4 days. He wasn't feeling his best when we hooked up together, and his cough seemed to get worse. On Monday he went to a doctor in Dallas, who put him out of service. Paul was doing quite well, driving and backing. On Sunday, we bobtailed 175 miles, deadheaded 40 miles, to pickup a load of paper, and deliver it to Fort Worth.

Enroute we took SR9 in arkansas, a great road to teach shifting/gear RPM/Speed issues. We even had the opportunity to cross a limited weight bridge. (????)/(33.5TON). Here are some fotos of the road and scenery.

Now I'm waiting on a load. hopefully a good one. I could use some of this time to catch up on some SNI/Personal details. My last student, ROB called me to give me deails of picking up his first truck at Gary and his load to Green Bay. You can read his BLOG at http://www.truckingfunks.blogspot.com/
